In an effort to walk off some of these great meals at Vista Val Verde, I hiked down the steep driveway and took a peak at the outside culture the native Costa Rican's. They and the Gringos call the local people Tico's.
It was a pleasant walk and a challenge back up the hill. I saw an older couple walking to their home and we waved and another lady watering her garden through her fence and another lovely home had the kids playing in the yard.
Sometimes taking their pictures does not feel polite. So I kept my camera in my pocket and just kept walking up and down the hill.
